Sinead Walsh M.Sc., BCBA.

I am Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with over ten years experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). I have extensive experience developing and implementing individual education programs for children on the autistic spectrum.

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology in 2004 from Kingston University, London. I then went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Counseling Psychology in 2007. I returned to Ireland in 2009 where I completed an M.Sc. in Psychology (ABA) in Trinity College, Dublin and graduated with a distinction in 2011. My Masters research involved The Role of Multiple Exemplar Training in Establishing Equivalence Relations to Train Natural Language in Young Children with a diagnosis of ASD and this research was published in 2013. I obtained her BCBA level exams in 2012 gained Board Certification with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). I am a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

I have comprehensive experience working in early intervention settings with children on the autistic spectrum as well as children with ADHD and challenging behaviour. This experience has occurred in a wide variety of settings including early intervention ABA home programs, ABA schools and mainstream schools, both in the UK and Ireland. I have provided consultation services to schools and families of children on the autistic spectrum. I have extensive experience carrying out assessments using tools such as ABLLS-R, an educational tool used to measure the basic linguistic and functional skills of an individual with developmental delays or disabilities.

I have spent the last few years working as a BCBA consultant developing and implementing ABA home programs. In 2013, I worked as Director of Education in the Jonah Project ABA School in Waterford where I was responsible for developing and overseeing educational and behavioural programs as well as providing training and supervision to teachers. I provide training and supervision to students who are working towards BCBA certification, as well as to parents and families of children with ASD.
